Therapeutic Massage

"I've been going to Denise for over eight years now, and she's become part of my overall wellness routine for some of the same reasons that I've maintained a steady relationship with my family doctor and local gym. A few years ago I began stay-at-home parenting duties for our newborn twin daughters and Denise became even more important to my health. She provided me a sense of renewal and rejuvenation that I just couldn’t get anywhere else during those first two years.  Both my wife and I look forward to our appointments with Denise like we used to look forward to a vacation."

Therapeutic massage sessions combine a variety of techniques to best address your individual concerns. Your session may include traditional massage techniques such as Trigger Point Therapy and relaxation massage along with CrainoSacral Therapy and other fascial techniques to address the body's connective tissue. In every session I work to unwind chronic or acute pain/tension patterns in the body while also providing a deep sense of relaxation. Massage therapy has shown to be particularly effective in

  • Relaxing and regenerating injured, tired, and overused muscles

  • Relieving migraines and headaches

  • Reducing stress and anxiety

  • Relieving back pain

  • Improving joint range of motion

  • Enhancing the immune system

  • Lowering blood pressure

  • Improving sleep quality

  • Decreasing carpal tunnel symptoms

  • Easing post-operative pain

  • Alleviating side effects of cancer treatment

  • Improving mood and energy

Sessions can be 30 to 90 minutes.
